FMBC Prayer Needs

Philip Green will have to stay in the hospital a little longer so they can get his blood thinner regulated. Please continue to pray for Philip as well as Jerry and Linda as he recovers.

Please continue to pray for Jean Alderson in this difficult time.

They are hoping to move Louise Vaden to a skilled nursing facility next week. Please pray that she continues to improve and grow stronger each day.

Lewis McGuire had surgery on his hip on Friday 1/17 and is doing well. Please continue to pray for him.

Mark Hebert had hernia surgery today. Please pray for his healing and strength.

Mark and Nancy Hebert are grandparents for the 3rd time with a handsome grandson, Weston Tyler born 1/16 to Kyle and Kali. Please join them in praising the Lord for this new life!

Susan Martin is improving and her mother Judy thanks you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for Susan's healing and strength.

Arrangements:
There will be a Memorial Service for Marion Hebert on Saturday 1/25 at 1:30 at Faith Memorial with the Pastoral Staff officiating. Receiving will be from 1-1:30 pm prior to the service. There will not be a graveside service. Please continue to lift them to the Lord in prayer.

 Andrea Lester did well with the procedure and will have a blood transfusion later today or tomorrow. She will remain in the hospital for some time. Please continue to pray for her ub this difficult time.

Lewis McGuire has gone to Wake Forest Hospital as he couldn't get in Duke.

Louise Herndon's sister, Matha Carrigan passed away. Please pray for Louise and her family in this time of loss.

Louise Vaden had dialysis and has improved. Please pray for her healing and strength.

Mark Hebert's mother Marion passed away yesterday. Please continue to pray for Mark, Nancy, and their family in their time of loss. Arrangements will be shared with you as they are made available. Andrea Lester had a procedure today at Moses Cone to help with her clotting. Please continue to pray for her in a special way.

Linda and Jerry Green's son Philip did have to have heart valve replacement as there was more damage than expected. He is doing well yet in some pain and will remain in Duke hospital 5-7 days. The family thanks you for your prayers and asks the you please continue to pray for his healing and strength.

Please pray for Marion Hebert in a special way as she is not doing well and expected to go home to be with the Lord in a week or so. Please pray for Nancy and Mark in a special way as they care for Marion in this very difficult time.

Please pray for Jerry and Linda Green's 53 year old son Philip as he has heart valve surgery tomorrow (Tuesday) at Duke for leaking valves. They are praying the can be repaired and not need replacement.

Please pray for Andrea Lester as she is back at Moses Cone and had an endoscopy this morning.

Lewis McGuire fell Saturday and broke his hip. They have found that he has cancer in his hip and pelvis so he is being transported to Duke Oncology. Please pray for the peace and comfort only our Lord can give.

Louise Vaden is in the hospital with pneumonia and they are also concerned with her heart. Please pray for Louise and her family in a very special way.

Ed Page had a mild heart attack and is home resting. Please pray for his healing and strength.

Sharon Swicegood will be starting a new medication. Please pray that she will not have any side effects and will be able to continue worship with her faith family!

Please pray for Marion Hebert as she is not doing well. She is not eating and drinking and staying in the bed. Please pray the she will be at peace and comfortable as the Lord calls her home. Please pray for Mark, Nancy, and their family in this difficult time.

Please pray for Kara Eastwood as she has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Kara sometimes attends here at Faith and is in her freshman year of high school. Pray for her as she faces many days of testing and treatment.

Andrea Lester is home from the hospital and is scheduled for a procedure on Tuesday 1/21 at Moses Cone and will stay overnight. Andrea is looking for someone to help her 4 days a week in the mornings and is willing to pay for this help. If you are able to help or know someone who can, please contact Andrea at 570-295-9314.

Please Pray for Lori Harris and their family in a special way as her father Emmett passed away. Funeral services will be conducted today Friday, January 3, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel. Interment will be private in Highland Burial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations be made to the Danville/Pittsylvania County Cancer Association, who were of great help through Emmett’s battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Grant and Sara Turman's son Samuel is home and doing well following his surgery. Please pray for his continued healing.

Sharon Swicegood has radiation today and meets with the neurologist. Sharon hopes to be home soon. Please continue to pray for her in this time of sickness.

Lewis McGuire continues to be in significant pain. Please pray especially for the pain to ease and for his comfort.
