Carl Clark's sister, Shirley Young passed away Sunday 9/20. She was 95 years old and lived in Martinsville. The family will have a private burial. Please pray for Carl and his family in a special way.

Please pray for Jason Root as he continues to have seizures and has been taken to get evaluated. Please also pray for his parents James and Nicole.

Jackie Davis is home recovering from surgery. Please continue to pray for healing and strength.

Lou and Eddie Bowman's 13 year old granddaughter Madison is at Gretna Hospital due to brain bleed. They were not able to fly her out but took her by ambulance to Roanoke Carilion Hospital. This is the oldest daughter of the Bowman's son Chaz. Please pray in a special way for Madison, the medical teams, and this dear family in this difficult time.

Irene Echols ankle surgery went well and she is on her way home. Please pray for her continued healing.

Doris Danith's brother Dewey Jackson Matherly Jr., 77, of Danville, VA, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, while a patient of Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Stanley Owen officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel. Please pray for this dear family in a special way in their time of loss.
