FMBC Prayer Needs

ZaLiah Godfrey is one of our Faith Family that recently graduated high school and within days was headed to Navy bootcamp. ZaLiah and her shipmates have a daily prayer circle and are able to attend church services regularly. Please keep her in your prayers in a special way. While in her training, this young lade could use letters and cards of encouragement that can be mailed to:

One of our dear Faith Family, Vickie Riddle, passed away Saturday surrounded by family. A graveside service for Vickie will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Danville Memorial Gardens with Pastor Daniel Lackey and Pastor Duane Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Please pray for her husband Richard and their family in a special way in their time of loss. For those who may not know, Richard is our kind brother who brings candy to pass out before our church services.

Please continue to remember Pastor Austin and Rhonda Merricks in your prayers as Rhonda continues to heal from her neck and foot surgery and for Pastor Austin as he cares for her.

Vivian Herndon lost her niece Cindy Sawyers suddenly on Tuesday 6/16. Please pray for Vivian and her family in a special way in their time of loss.

Please continue to pray for Larry Davis in a special way and for Debra as she cares for him.

Jimmy Carter's back surgery went well Thursday. He is expected to be home sometime this week. He very much appreciates all the prayers.

John Parsons is now home. Please continue to pray for him and Deb as they continue to recover from their sickness.

Please remember to pray for Alison Williamson's mom Vickie Bowyer as she will have surgery Tomorrow 6/23 on the shoulder she injured in a recent fall.

Please remember to pray for our Missionary Tim Setliff's wife, Maria, as she has an appointment with a cardiologist this Thursday June 25 here in the states. She flew here to have heart surgery as the doctors in Honduras told her it is too dangerous to have the surgery there. Please keep them in your prayers.

Please pray for Alison Williamson's mom, Vickie Bowyer, as she will have surgery Tuesday on her shoulder she injured in a fall.

John and Deb Parsons have been sick and John is now in Lynchburg hospital with pneumonia. They are hoping he can come home tomorrow. Please pray for their healing and strength.

Jimmy Carter has been awaiting surgery on his back since he fell and is scheduled to have it Thursday morning. Please continue to pray for him in a special way.

Please pray for Vickie Dillion's father, John Collie. He had a heart attack and is in the hospital.

Jackie Davis got out of the hospital Thursday and is doing better. The stroke affected his balance but they expect him to have a full recovery. Jackie and Robin appreciate all the prayers. Please pray for Jackie's continued healing.

Jackie Davis had a slight stroke this morning at Hilton Head and he is in the hospital there.  Please keep Jackie and his wife, Robin, in your prayers and ask God to give him a speedy recovery!
