FMBC Prayer Needs

Torin Saylor Jones was born today at Duke.  Torin in the daughter of Jacob and Maddie Jones, the granddaughter of Kris and Diana Booth, and the great-granddaughter of Lorna Baum and Janet Booth.  Torin weighs 6 lbs., 9 oz.  Maddie and Torin are doing well and the family appreciates your continued prayers!

Please pray for Maddie and Jacob Jones as they welcome their daughter Torin Saylor tomorrow. Maddie will be having a c-section. This is Kris and Diana Booth's daughter. Janet Booth and Lorna Baum are Maddie's grandmothers. The family thanks you for your love and continued prayers.

Jerry Smith is on a mission trip in Cuba. Please pray for safety and they would get a lot accomplished while they are there.

Karen Tucker friend/customer Samantha Simpson that we have been praying for who has reoccurring Hodgkin Lymphoma, is a teacher in Pittsylvania County and her name is Samantha Simpson. She had her stem cell transplant yesterday and needs prayer as her immune system will bottom out. Please pray for her protection and healing.

Sallie Minter's brother passed away Thanksgiving Day. They will have a private family funeral at a later time. Please pray for this dear family in a special way in their time of loss.

Melissa Dennis's uncle Wayne Gusler passed away. Please pray for this dear family in their time of loss. It is especially difficult to lose someone around the holidays.

Deborah Bass's brother, Steve Wilkinson, passed away last night in his sleep. He was 72 years old. Please pray for Deborah and her family in a special way in their loss. Arrangements will be forwarded to you when they are available.

Please pray for Katie Kuper's dad, James, as he has heart surgery tomorrow in Charlottesville.

Arrangements:
Lettie Kirby, a long time member has passed away last night, she had been bedridden due to dementia and alzheimers.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Norris Funeral Services on Hwy 58 with Pastor Seth Lackey officiating.

Junior and Ann Chism's daughter and Donna Smith's sister, Deborah Bowers, had surgery and it went well. Please pray for her healing and strength.
