Thank You Card
Daisie Oden, a friend of Lorene Martin sent this Thank You Card to FMBC with the following message:
"Dear Friends of the Baptist Church,
I am a friend of Lorene Martin who I visit with weekly at Maynard Senior Care. I read your cards to her and tell her how much she is loved. She is a dear, sweet lady and she does not recall all her past but she does have some sweet memories.
I asked her if I could send a note to let you know how much she enjoys hearing from you. She is uplifted by your cards and she wants you to know how much they help her overcome some depressing moments.
She is doing well in general but is mostly bed ridden nevertheless the care staff can be there to dress her and get her to a chair. I help her eat when i'm there. Pray she continues to have the Spirit as she often wants to give up." The card was also signed - Lorene Martin

Sherri Slade is having shoulder surgery on Tuesday 6/24. Please pray for her and David as he cares for her following surgery.
Patti Rodriguez’s brother Rickey Daigle's Celebration of Life Service will now be held a the Moose Lodge of Rockingham on Sunday, June 15th at 3:00 P.M.
Anthony Ingram’s father Moulton Junior Ingram passed away Friday at the age of 94. A graveside Service will be held on Friday June 13th at 3pm at the Schoolfield Cemetery.
Fuzzy Melton's brother, David Melton, passed away last week at the age of 68.
Services to honor David's life will be held at 1pm Monday, June 16th in Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Shirley Evans' husband Fred has been moved to Roman Eagle today. Please continue to pray for him in a special way.
Please pray for Jean Harville as she has a Cardioversion today.

Anthony Ingram's father passed away Friday, June 6 at 94 years of age. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13 at 3pm in the Schoolfield Cemetery. Please pray for this family in a special way in their time of loss.
John Parson's is doing well following his colonoscopy and his results were good. Please continue to keep him and Deb in your prayers.

Clinton Waller is going home from Roman Eagle today. Please continue to pray for his healing.
John Parsons will have a colonoscopy tomorrow at Lynchburg Baptist VA Hospital. Deb's eye is healing well and her vision has improved. Please pray for him and Deb in a special way.
Fuzzy Melton's brother passed away Saturday. Please pray for this dear family in a special way in their time of loss. Arrangements will be shared as soon as they are made available.
Patti Rodriguez's brother Rickey Daigle passed away this morning. A service will be held at Watson King Funeral Home in Rockingham, NC. More details will be given once they are made available. Please pray for this dear family in a special way.
Shirley Evans' husband Fred has surgery to repair his broken hip this past weekend. Please pray for his healing and strength.

Please pray for Pastor Seth's friend Jason Moss as he has surgery tomorrow to remove a lobe from his lung due to lung cancer. They believe it is confined in this one area.
Deb Parson's surgery went well and she thanks you for your prayers.
Mandi Merricks will have gallbladder surgery on Friday 6/20. Please pray that all will go well during surgery and recovery.
