Daniel Lackey
Daniel LackeySenior Pastor
Daniel Lackey has been our Lead Pastor since September 1982.

Pastor Lackey studied at Carolina University formally Piedmont International University as well as Covington Theological Seminary, earning both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Religious Education. He served as Pastor of Grace and Truth Baptist for two years and then came to Faith Memorial. Pastor Lackey has been a faithful Bible teacher for over 40 years. Pastor Lackey not only speaks weekly at Faith and on the radio but has also spoken at many conferences and fellowships. Pastor Lackey has a great love for his people and the body of Christ.
He has been married to his wife, Geneva, since 1979, and they have two children, Seth (Whitney) and Jennifer (Eric) and four grandchildren.

Seth Lackey
Seth LackeyAssociate Pastor
Seth has a background in finance and has served as Branch manager and Assistant Vice President in the banking industry. Seth holds a General Studies Diploma from Danville Community College, a Biblical Studies Diploma from Trinity Theological Seminary. Seth also holds an associate and bachelor’s degree from Liberty University. He has also continued his graduate studies in Pastoral leadership at Carolina University. Seth has been married to his wife, Whitney, since 2004, and they have three children – Britton, Mollie Grace, & Camden.

Seth’s role is to develop ministries, teach, evangelize, council, outreach, and disciple young families and children for Christ. The philosophy of ministry is to reach the father, reach the family, and develop children of faith. Recognizing it is the role of parents (Deuteronomy 6, Ephesians 6) to bring children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We believe the role of our church is to be the helping hands to these families as they seek to glorify God.

Austin Merricks
Austin MerricksSenior Saints, Missions, & Visitation Pastor
Austin has been the Senior Saints, Missions, & Visitation Pastor at FMBC since June 2019. Previously he served as Youth Pastor of FMBC from 2001 to May 2019.
Austin attended Liberty University and was ordained in February 2008. He and his wife, Rhonda, have been married since 1990. Austin is a meek and humble man who loves to study and teach God’s word. Austin is also involved with many other ministries including our hospital and shut-in visitation, Vacation Bible School, counseling, working alongside our Young Families & Children’s ministries, and much more.
Jordan Keatts
Jordan KeattsMinistry Intern
Jordan joined our staff in October 2022. Jordan was born and raised in Danville, Virginia. In his role as Ministry Intern, Jordan, assists in many different areas of our ministry. An area focus is, Children’s Ministry. Jordan is passionate for seeing children seek Christ and become faithful followers & servants of Him. He is involved in a variety of other ministries such as visitation, senior saints, vacation bible school, and Summer Camp. Jordan is currently studying at Liberty University’s School of Divinity Online.
Donella Guill
Donella GuillSecretary / Treasurer
Donella Guill is a true asset to Faith Memorial as treasurer and secretary. Donella received an Associates degree from Danville Community College, a Bachelors degree from James Madison University, and received a Masters degree from Averett University. Donella has served as secretary and treasurer of Faith Memorial Baptist Church since 1995, taking the position full-time in August, 2007.
Martha Williamson
Martha WilliamsonMusic / Choir Director
Martha Williamson began to study music at the age of 9. She has served as pianist for Faith Memorial since the church was organized in 1972. Martha is the director of Faith Memorial’s Choir, and her main focus is to have Christ-exalting music in every service. She also works with our 2s & 3s Sunday School group. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, cooking, and family activities.
Diana Booth
Diana BoothAssistant Secretary
Diana Booth has served as assistant secretary for FMBC since March of 2020. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1998 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She has been married to her husband, Kris, since 1998 and they have two children, Maddie and Dawson. She and her family became members of Faith soon after they moved to Virginia from Tennessee about 10 years ago. Diana is thankful that the Lord brought her family to Faith and for the opportunity to serve.
